In a recent announcement, 2K has revealed that Telltale Games' much-admired episodic series - Tales from the Borderlands – is scheduled for release on disc this April.
According to the announcement, the disc of Tales from the Borderlands -- which will unfold the episodic series in physical form -- will be available for a number of gaming platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
The disc release of Tales from the Borderlands in Europe is scheduled for April 22; while the North America release is scheduled for April 26.
Tales from the Borderlands is an offshoot of Gearbox Software's Borderlands first-person RPG series; and it essentially converts the frantic alien shooting game into a point-and-click adventure driven by narrative. It was broken into five action-packed emotional episodes which were rolled out in 2014 and 2015.
Some of the characters of Tales from the Borderlands have been taken directly from the main Borderlands series, whereas some characters are new faces. The series basically tells the story of a handful of irritatingly lovable characters -- including Rhys, Fiona, and Handsome Jack, among others -- as they try to amass cash and power on the planet Pandora.
