VIZIO has recently announced the launch of its newest collection of Ultra HD TVs --- the P-Series lineup, which features Ultra HD TVs in sizes ranging between 50 inches and 70 inches, at 5-inch increments.
The cost of the new P-Series TVs begins at $1,000 for the 50-inch P502ui-B1 model; and goes up to $2,500 for the 70-inch P702ui-B3 model.
Launching its latest Ultra HD TV collection, VIZIO said that the new P-Series lineup amalgamates superlative picture quality with affordable pricing. The lineup offers smart TV features as well as full-array local dimming with up to
72 Active LED Zones.
The P-Series lineup launched by VIZIO is equipped with HEVC H. 265 codec and 802.11 ac dual-band WiFi for speedier streaming, along with the most recent HDCP 2.2 support for playback of protected Ultra HD content.
All the models comprising the P-Series lineup uses an LED LCD panel with 3840x2160 resolution. With the displays featuring full-array local dimming, the P-Series TVs boast superior black levels, uniformity, and contrast.
Noting that the new Ultra HD collection has been named 'P' for performance, VIZIO's Chief Technology Officer Matt McRae said: "Our P-Series collection offers an outstanding Ultra HD picture and performance."
