Wearable Baby Monitor Comes as Help for New Parents

Team of researchers and engineers from Apple and Google have lent a helping hand to new parents in the form of sproutling, a wearable baby monitor that will be available in the store for sale in March 2015. This is also famous with the name of "World's smartest baby monitor".

Sproutling baby monitor was invented to monitor a baby's vital and to collect basic information about the different sleeping patterns adopted by the infants. The monitor will get adjusted to a baby's habit and can inform the parents in case of any deformity.

Band is made up of a washable machine, which can be charged via its wireless base station and it has a hypoallergenic band. It is an app-based machine, which means it uploads all the required data to an app on parent's smartphone.

And the application on your smartphone uses the data to guess anything which includes guessing about mood of the baby and his wake-up time. The tight to use the app will be only provided to baby's parents, babysitters or other approved caretakers.

The app has a feature through which it will alert the parents in case of any extreme and sudden change in the baby's vital. The baby monitor can do an advance booking online for $249 and will be available in store at a price of $299.

According to the makers of Sproutling, the monitor collects 16 different dimensions per second, which include baby's heart rate, body temperature, position and movement. In addition, it will also give measurements of humidity level, noise and light conditions of the baby's room.
