Some noteworthy Samsung Galaxy S5 enhancements

With Samsung's Galaxy series marking the most popular range of Android devices till date, some of the noteworthy features which have come aboard the company's latest flagship handset - the Galaxy S5 - have been well received by consumers.

Since Samsung brings up newer and more enhanced features and functionalities in each new iteration of its Galaxy series of devices, the Galaxy S5 features which the buyers have appreciated include improvements in camera and software.

So far as the camera of the Galaxy S5 is concerned, Samsung has not just bumped the rear camera to 16 megapixel, but has also tweaked the software in some significant ways. The camera of Galaxy S5 boasts the addition of 'phase detect' which speeds up autofocus considerably; thereby resulting in increased speed and clarity in fast action shots. Moreover, the camera also has a Live HDR (high dynamic range) mode which shows tweaks in the lighting in real time.

Other than the improved camera, the other impressive features of the Galaxy S5 include an Ultra Power Saving mode which can reportedly make a 10 percent charge last for another 24 hours.

In addition, the Galaxy S5 also features a biometric sensor which not only enables the users to unlock the device or make purchases from Apple's iTunes store, but also to authorise transactions through the PayPal online payment service.
