Vele Mining Project to Resume after Proper Licensing

Vele Mining Project to Resume after Proper Licensing

It has been revealed according to a recent report that Coal of Africa Ltd, from Australia, shall resume its mining activities after it shall get a license. They are currently on hold for their Vele project due to lack of proper authorization and license. The recent developments are of the view that work shall soon resume after there can be proper license approved for the same.

The firm is of the view that they want to continue with this area as their site for mining, because it is an excellent place for the project. It was revealed that the project was about 17 miles from the ruins of the Mapungubwe River.

The other firms like Endangered Life Trust and a number of other environment groups are of the view that the firm has not properly estimated the amount of water it shall have to use for the purpose of this project. They need to be definite and precise about the material that is going to be used for the purpose of this project.

Coal of Africa is “acutely aware of the sensitivity of the area and of the significant responsibilities the approval brings”, it said in today’s statement.
