Sony announces September lineup of free PlayStation Plus games
In a recent announcement, Sony shared details about a forthcoming batch of PlayStation Plus freebies, which will be made available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in September.
According to the announcement, some of the noteworthy games whose free copies will be included in the upcoming batch of freebies for PlayStation Plus subscribers will include the third-person action role-playing game Lords of the Fallen, and the popular indie game Journey.
Sony said that, beginning next week, PlayStation Plus subscribers can expect free copies of Lords of the Fallen -- developed by Deck 13 -- and Thatgamecompany’s Journey. Previously, Lords of the Fallen was part of Microsoft’s PlayStation Plus freebie program, Games With Gold.
In addition to Lords of the Fallen and Journey, some of the other PlayStation Plus freebies announced by Sony for the service’s subscribers in September include The Forgotten Sands sequel in the Prince of Persia series, and Frogmind’s Badland.
About the free PlayStation Plus games lined up for subscribers in September, Sony said that the PlayStation Plus September freebies will available for download, via the PlayStation Network, with effect from September 6.
