Samsung to unveil world’s first TV-matching curved soundbar

At the IFA 2014 event, bigwig South Korean device manufacturer Samsung will unveil a soundbar - the HW-H7500/H7501 - to match its curved TV sets. The HW-H7500/H7501 will be the first TV-matching curved soundbar in the world.

Revealing that the HW-H7500/H7501 has been primarily built with the objective of highlighting the company's curved LED TV lineup, Samsung said that the soundbar is the first sound bar to boast "a curved form factor."

The forthcoming introduction of the HW-H7500/H7501 soundbar by Samsung underscores a part of the company's 'Total Curved Solution;' and it aims to complement the aesthetic design of the TV.

The 42mm wide sandbar, with a 4,200mm curvature radius, replicates the Samsung Curved UHD TV. The soundbar - which will unfold an immersive experience for users - can be mounted on the wall; and can also be easily installed under the set, replacing the TV stand.

The HW-H7500/H7501 curved soundbar will feature 8.1 channel support; and will have two speaker units on either side. The soundbar can be controlled by the users through their Samsung TV remote controls and wirelessly via TV SoundConnect.
