Samsung’s Chromebook Pro and Plus could be game-changers
Samsung's new Chromebook Pro, which virtually merges the worlds of desktop and mobile computing, boasts to have some really unique features that are expected to help the upcoming machine to outshine its competitors.
Like its buddy Samsung Chromebook Plus, the Pro has been designed to run Android applications available from Google's Play Store.
The Samsung Chromebook Plus is 12.3 inches diagonally, and 2.38 pounds in weight. It features a Gorilla Glass 3-made Quad HD display that can rotate 360 degrees. Thus, one can use it as either a laptop or a tablet. It also boasts a 2 Ghz, hexa-core dual ARM processor.
The same size Chromebook Pro will come equipped with a 2.2 Ghz Intel Core m3. Both machines will offer 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, and a battery life of up to 8 hours.
First introduced at CES 2017 in February, the Plus and Pro have been described by the manufacturer as the next-generation Chromebooks born at the junction of software and hardware innovation.
Scheduled to hit the market in April, the 12.3-inch Samsung Chromebook Plus can be preordered for $449.99; while the same size Chromebook Pro is available to be preordered for $549.
