Samsung could possibly launch of a Galaxy Note 7 with upgraded specs in China

The Korea Herald has disclosed in a recent report that bigwig South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is considering the possibility of the launch of a Galaxy Note 7 handset with upgraded specifications in China.

According to the report, the Galaxy Note 7 version which Samsung is apparently planning to launch in China will boast a noteworthy upgrade in specifications as compared to the Galaxy Note 7 model which is scheduled to hit other markets across the world on August 19.

The report has highlighted that the most notable upgrades which Samsung is likely to introduce in the Galaxy Note 7 version for the Chinese market will include an increase in the device’s RAM as well as its onboard storage capacity.

Specifically, the report has revealed that the Galaxy Note 7 handset headed for China will probably come with 6GB of RAM, along with onboard storage capacity upped from the base of 64GB to 128GB.

In comparison, the Galaxy Note 7 handset to be available in the US, Europe, and Korea will feature 4GB of RAM, and 64GB onboard storage capacity in the base model.

Samsung’s projected move to launch a higher-specification Galaxy Note 7 model in China is evidently rooted in the fact that the company wants to attract potential smartphone buyers in the country which already has a smartphone market saturated with handsets boasting 6GB of RAM and huge amounts of onboard storage.
