Nintendo announces second line of Splatoon Amiibo figures
In an announcement made via a recently-released video, Nintendo has unveiled second line of Splatoon Amiibo figures. The new figures come in addition to the original three Splatoon Amiibo figures --- Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Inkling Squid.
According to the details shared in the promotional video, Nintendo's new Splatoon Amiibo figures are Squid Sisters Callie and Marie. These amiibos are scheduled to hit the retail stores on July 8, 2016.
The cost of Squid Sisters Callie and Marie bundled together will be $25; while individually the two amiibo figures will be priced at $13 each.
In unveiling the new Squid Sisters Callie and Marie amiibos, Nintendo has shown off their in-game dance moves in the promotional video. The company also said that Callie and Marie will eventually get their own figures which, when activated in-game, will unfold a list of songs for the gamers to choose from.
Meanwhile, in addition to revealing its new 'Squid Sisters' Splatoon Amiibo figures, Nintendo has also announced that it will also be rolling out new colors for the three original Splatoon Amiibo figures. The new colors -- a purple boy, lime green girl, and orange squid -- will also be launched on July 8, along with the Squid Sisters amiibos.
