Irvin Khoza Appointed Zola Majavu as the New Chief Executive of PSL

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) Chairman, Irvin Khoza finally appointed the famous lawyer Zola Majavu as the new Chief Executive Officer. The rumors of replacing the previous Chief Executive Kjetil Siem's was being discussed from past several months and was finally given way with the declaration.

Zola Majavu was appointed for the post for three years, the agreement was quiet flexible as it could be extended for another two years if desired. The former chief executive Mr. Seim had transformed the PSL as he had made it more of a professional organisation with adaptation of latest technology but the reason for his replacement was the fact that he was not a black.

Zola Majavu, a lawyer by profession, was quiet popular with the members of PSL, he played an important role in the debating resolution chamber of the world soccer body FIFA. Former MTN Executive, Cambridge Mokonyane, who was also believed to be in the run for the top job, was going to work alongside Majavu as the PSL's chief operations officer.

Mokonyane was a replacement of Ronnie Schloss the Veteran Administrator Professor and Mr. Khoza was quiet satisfied at his decision of combining the two Mr. Majavu and Mr. Mokonyane and expected that they would take PSL at higher levels than what it was at present.
