HP Working Hard To Promote Its Gadgets
HP is leaving no opportunity to promote its TouchPad. In the pursuit of attracting more customers, HP has placed the famous English actor Russell Brand as its spokesperson for its webOS tablet. While promoting the tablet, Brand informed the users, in brief, about the major functions of the tablet with a pinch of humor.
The webOS is claimed to be a useful tablet for the businessperson. But just like RIM, HP also lagged behind in attracting customers. For long HP has been highlighting its multitasking features but it has failed to understand that this feature is least admired by the corporate world.
Although HP couldn’t attract more customers, its loyal customers are still with it. Moreover, its revised webOS is helpful for the application developers. As it is based on the Linux and Web-standard technology, it makes it easier for one to develop applications.
Market experts are advising HP not to sell its product with the tag of corporate product as it will ruin its image. It has been revealed that HP’s TouchPad has poor quality and features but is being sold at an imaginable price of $599. The HP’s Senior Vice President, Jon Rubinstein said that the company will be addressing to the short comings of the product shortly.
