Google Maps for Android updated to include Street View

With some recently announced versatile new features on board, Google Maps for the Android platform has gotten a slight remake.
Despite the arrival of the new features, Google Maps basically functions in the same way as users know. However, the company has smartly integrated some “Street View” features straight into the navigation view.
When a user asks it for directions, he/she can swipe up from the bottom of the app’s screen to make out all the turn-by-turn steps as before. However, now each of those steps comes accompanied by a Street View picture of that exact turn.
Tapping on the Street View image opens it up full-screen, properly facing the direction you're going on the route.
While the changes are new for Android users of maps service, it may sound familiar because the tech giant added it to the web version of the service several years ago, in 2008.
