Faraday Future will unveil its first production car at 2017 CES in January
In a disclosure made via a Wednesday email, mysterious electric car start-up Faraday Future said that its first production car will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) scheduled to be held in January 2017.
The electric car which Faraday Future is building was first revealed - as a concept car - by the company at the 2016 CES event. The car had generated a lot of hype ahead of its reveal, by the automaker showcased only a concept car.
With regard to Faraday Future's unveiling of its first production car, some earlier reports had speculated that the automaker apparently had efforts underway to unveil its electric car during a US launch event being held by LeEco -- Faraday Future's strategic partner -- at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on Wednesday.
However, Faraday Future has now confirmed that the unveiling of its first production car will take place at the 2017 CES event. But, the company has not disclosed any details about the kind of range it plans to offer in the increasingly competitive electric car space.
Nonetheless, according to Faraday Future's description, the company's car will be a "premium electric vehicle that combines extreme technology, industry leading range, and holistic design."
