DJI Mavic Pro foldable drone starts shipping Oct. 21
In a recent announcement, drone manufacturer DJI has revealed that it will start shipping its small Mavic Pro foldable drone to pre-order customers on Friday, October 21.
The DJI Mavic Pro drone is a tiny, foldable super smart UAV priced at $999. The drone was initially scheduled to start shipping to pre-order customers on October 14, but DJI neither started delivering the drone on the mentioned date nor did it give any explanation for the delay.
After enthusiastic customers bombarded DJI with questions about when the Mavic Pro drone would be shipped, the company said in an October 18 statement that the production of the drone was "in full swing;" and added that it was doing its best to fulfil orders at the earliest possible.
However, though the company asserted that the drone was witnessing “amazing global demand,” it refrained from announcing an actual shipping date.
Now, within a few days of the due date of shipping of the Mavic Pro having passed, DJI has revealed that it will finally start shipping the drone with effect from October 21. The company said in its latest statement: "As we told you earlier this week, demand is heavy, and we are working round the clock to get the Mavic Pro in your hands. Please check online for updates on your order status."
