Yahoo acquires mobile messaging startup Blink

According to a statement posted on the Blink website on Wednesday, the mobile messaging startup has been acquired by Internet firm Yahoo. The financial terms of the acquisition deal have not been officially divulged by Blink.

The startup, which was launched in April 2013, is the company behind the 'self-destructing messages' app Blink, which allows users to send messages - texts, audio and photos - which erase themselves at a particular time set by the sender.
