Russian hackers have reportedly stolen over 1 billion Internet credentials

The New York Times has revealed in a Tuesday report that more than one billion Internet credentials have been stolen by a Russian cyber-crime ring.

According to KHOU 11 News reports, Internet search giant Google has recently tipped off police officials in Texas to a child porn suspect --- 41-year-old Houston restaurant worker, John Henry Skillern.

The cyber-tip about Skillern was passed along to the police by Google via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), based outside Washington. The non-profit NCMEC operates the CyberTipline, to facilitate Internet service providers to pass on information about suspect online child sexual abuse on to police departments.

According to the latest data published by online advertising network Chitika on Wednesday, developer adoption rate of the Apple's OS X 10.10 Yosemite beta is four times more than the developer adoption of the OS X 10.9 Mavericks version.

The latest data released by Chitika Insights- the research arm of Chitika - shows the relative adoption rates between Apple's forthcoming OS X Yosemite version and the preceding OS X Mavericks.

According to a TechCrunch report, the 'Yo' mono-message social app - which is rocketing up the popularity charts at the app stores - has been hacked. The app allows users to send as well as receive messages which contain only one word --- "Yo."

The report about Yo app falling prey to hackers comes at a time when the app has recently witnessed its worldwide ascent in popularity.
