Council of Minors First Meeting held this Week

Marie Collins, clerical sex abuse campaigner, said that she had a positive feeling about the Holy See’s new child protection body, the Pontifical Commission for Minors. Despite the fact that different people in commission have different perspectives, their aim is one: just to protect children.

Ms. Marie Collins said that the three days meeting has given the direction to walk and that will help in achieving their aim. Since the start of the Council for Minors, which includes four women, five lay people and three Anglophones, first meeting held this week.

P. Acne, Bacteria infecting Plants in Italy

Researchers at the Research and Innovation Center, Fondazione Edmund Mach, in Italy were surprised to find human acne-causing pathogen on the grapevines Vitis vinifera in Northeast Italy. They found Propionibacterium acnes, P.acne, living in the bark of the grape plant for the first time through a 16S rDNA gene-based microbiome analysis.

Italian Research team at Aldo Moro University has concluded that infants suffer less from colic, constipation and acid reflux if probiotics are administered regularly during first three months. A Partnership b/w PetroSA and Italian Firm Eni

As stated by PetroSA yesterday, it has tied a memorandum of understanding with Italian integrated energy company Eni. With this deal, the two companies will now co-operate with each other in future projects.

As told by PetroSA, now onwards, both the companies would appraise the acquisition. Along with this, the opportunity to participate together in projects belonging to other African countries would also be evaluated by both companies.
