According to a recent post on popular microblogging service Twitter's official blog, the company has decided to shut down the TweetDeck standalone app for Windows. The app allows users to create a dashboard for simultaneous management of multiple accounts.

About the decision to discontinue the Windows TweetDeck app, Twitter said that it will end support for the app on April 15, 2016. However, Twitter has also added that though the TweetDeck app for Windows will be shut down next month, the Web version of TweetDeck will continue to unfold the same experience for the app's users.

Chipotle Mexican Grill's Twitter account remained under control of hackers for about two hours during the Sunday night. The company said in a statement that hackers within those two hours posted a series of offensive tweets on their Twitter account.

The company said that the hackers replaced Chipotle's avatar with a swastika, and tweeted several racial comments using vulgar language, including ones directed at President Barack Obama and various US government agencies.
