Samsung Engineers Excited About Graphene Breakthrough

Samsung has announced that the company R&D team has reached major breakthrough in mass production of graphene. Graphene is the strongest and the thinnest material available. The new technique has been developed jointly by Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) and Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea.

Samsung engineers have developed a new technique to synthesize graphene. The new technique uses single crystal instead of multi-crystal during synthesis of graphene. In multi-crystal technique, many electrical and mechanical properties of graphene were lost.
