Last week, bigwig chip manufacturer Qualcomm unveiled its new super-fast charging technology which has the capability to give a five-hour boost to a smartphone’s battery life after barely five minutes of charging.

The new Qualcomm technology which promises to give smartphones a supercharge boost is called ‘Quick Charge 4’ technology.

The newly-unveiled Quick Charge 4 charging technology -- as is evident from its name -- marks the fourth generation of charging technology from Qualcomm; and it underscores a significant advance in performance.
