Digitimes report: Apple Watch 2 will have thinner display than its predecessor

A newly-released Digitimes report has revealed that Apple Watch 2 -- the second-generation version of the Apple Watch smartwatch -- will come with a display technology which would end up giving an overall' thinner' look to the device as compared to its predecessor. The Apple Watch 2 will likely be unveiled by Apple at its product launch event in September.

According to the report, the Apple Watch 2 with a thinner display will probably have some additional free space for including a slightly bigger battery than the original Apple Watch.
