Analyst: Fewer Apple Watch units will be sold by Apple in 2016 as compared to 20

According to a Business Insider report, a new research carried out by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has projected that the sales of Apple Watch smartwatches in 2016 will be lower as compared to the 2015 figures.

Projecting lower-than-last-year sales of Apple Watch smartwatches in 2016, Kuo has made a downward revision in his 2016 Apple Watch shipment estimates, by 15 to 25 percent. As a result, Kuo now projects that nearly 8.5 to 9 million units of the Apple Watch – including both Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2 smartwatches – will be sold by Apple during fiscal 2016.
