In recent Twitter posts, well-known leakers Evan Blass and OnLeaks have revealed that the much-awaited next flagship handset to be released by HTC will not come with the ‘One M’ branding. Instead, it will simply be called HTC 10.
Though the next HTC flagship handset is a widely anticipated device, it has thus far been referred to as the HTC One M10 smartphone.
However, with HTC not having included the rumored One M10 handset in the products it showcased at the last-month Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, the latest leaks from Evan Blass and OnLeaks hint that HTC’s new handset will apparently be launched as HTC 10.
Going by the indications from the images of the HTC 10 handset leaked by the two tipsters, the key specifications of the device will include a 5.1-inch QuadHD AMOLED display; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor; 4GB of RAM; a fingerprint scanner; and onboard storage options of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.
In addition, it is also rumored that the forthcoming HTC 10 handset will run Android OS version 6.0.1 ‘Marshmallow.’ HTC CFO Chialin Chang has also revealed that the handset will boast a "very, very compelling" camera.
