Activision, American video game publisher has confirmed what Bungie, American video game developer, has announced earlier this year regarding the delay of Destiny 2 by 2017. However, Activision has announced to release large new expansion of destiny later this year for its fans.
Though not much is disclosed about the coming expansion, the reports claimed that it is under development currently and will be available to players in 2016. The Destiny 2 is believed to go full sequel, making it full of surprises. The process of the production of the both projects is moving slowly. In past, we saw the release of the vanilla game, two $20 DLCs and one $40 DLC in the span of a year. Currently, Destiny has made updates for the Valentine’s Day event.
“Activision publishing, along with its partners at Bungie, expects to bring a large new expansion to destiny in 2016 and to release a full game sequel in 2017,” as stated by the company’s press release. According to Activision, 25 million players have logged more than 3 billion hours in destiny.
