Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus selling like hot cakes

Samsung has claimed that its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones are selling like hot cakes, suggesting that consumers have moved on from the taint related to the recall of its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets.

Samsung said that both of its new flagship phones have garnered a record number of pre-orders. As per the company’s claims, both handsets have already eclipsed the sales of their unfortunate predecessors.

Without revealing exact numbers, the South Korean manufacturer said that the early figures for preorders for the two devices showed a “double digit” growth.
