Young New York boy interviews NASA’s head

A nine year old New York boy had a dream come true when he was able to interview the head of America Space agency, NASA.

Photographer Brandon Stanton had photographed a young boy named Max standing with his father on a street in New York City a few weeks earlier. The photograph had a caption with Max's dream to become a reporter just like this dad and that he wanted his first story to be an interview with the "Director of NASA."Max wanted to "ask him about his rockets. And if any of them were going to space."

Stanton, whoruns the incredibly popular Humans of New York website, managed to arrange this interview for Max. He arranged an interview of NASA Administrator, Charles Bolden and NASA posted the video of the interview online. Max wrote that he had fun with the interview and also pointed out that he wanted to work for news again.

“Max’s curiosity represents the kid in all of us. We share his wonder and awe at the incredible human achievements in space - and here on Earth,” said NASA.
