Skype Translator can translate live conversations in six languages at a time

The Skype Translator was announced last year by Microsoft- owned Skype. The feature was added to Skype for Desktop, since Thursday. With this move, Skype users can now easily communicate with the users, who don't speak the same language.

Skype Translator has made it possible, and language barriers are now a thing of past. At first the Skype Translator was released as an application that was compatible with Windows 8, but now it is available for every Skype for Desktop user.

The Skype Translator can translate live conversations in six languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Mandarin and Spanish at a time. If an individual sends a text message via Skype than the Skype Translator can translate discussions in 50 languages.

Using this facility, people who don't speak different language will be able to communicate fluently, without using dictionaries. This way the communication will not only be a lot more comfortable but also a lot quicker.

The Skype Translator identifies languages by comparing the audio with millions of sounds and corrects any colloquial expression, followed by the test translation into the required language. Both the used screens show the translation and are the computer reads it for voice calls.

Presently, Skype Translator is ready to learn, so it will become more and more advanced as more people use the program. The users need to follow only a few simple steps to get Skype Translator.

When the international business meetings through Skype will use Skype Translator, they won't require translators. Furthermore, people will be able to make friends worldwide.
