Samsung Galaxy Note 8 facing challenges on multiple fronts
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is facing an increasingly competitive minefield varied considerably from its predecessors as the new device could get squeezed by other Android rivals. Samsung will launch Note 8 just ahead of the 10th anniversary of apple iPhone. As the Samsung versus Apple battle is already known to all the iPhone will definitely give a tough challenge to the new Samsung device.
But, the iPhone is not the only challenger to the Note 8 as other Android rivals are also in the race. The long list of challengers includes the Moto Z2 Force, the Nokia 8 and Google's Pixel 2.
The Moto Z2 Force features a dual camera, and any other feature that one may expect from a smartphone, at a cost of $750; while the Nokia 8 adds some interesting video sharing perks and split screens in addition to a dual camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
Google's Pixel 2 provides its own pure Android entry, a large screen and all other features that will put it against the Samsung Note 8.
In addition, the Samsung Note 8 will face competition from Samsung's own devices like the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The Note 8’s high price of $900 may also keep many prospective buyers from it. One can get a good Android smartphone for just half of that price.
