Residents should get 'flu safe', says NHS Trafford

NHS Trafford is urging 'at danger' inhabitants to get 'influenza safe,' as winter comes, with a free influenza jab. Dr Nigel Guest, chief clinical officer at NHS Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), said: "Influenza can be a serious disease for some individuals and there are a noteworthy number of deaths every year. It influences all ages and the essential thing is, it is preventable."

In case you're in an 'at-danger' group you would be helping yourself and the overall population by getting your free NHS influenza poke from your GP rehearse.

The key message this winter is 'its free in light of the fact that you require it'.

Those 'at-danger' incorporate individuals with long haul health conditions e. g. diabetes, heart and lung conditions, pregnant ladies, kids matured two to four, carers, wellbeing experts and each one of those aged over 65.

The immunization does not contain the live infection so it can't give you flu. The kind of influenza changes consistently, and to battle the most recent strains, you need inoculating consistently.

The best time to get immunized is the beginning of influenza season, from October to November.
