Google Home finally allows multiple accounts
Many Google Home users often complain that it lacks support for multiple accounts. However, that problem no longer exists as Google has already done the needful.
Following the most recent update, the Google Home now allows users to have multiple accounts with personalization as well as neural network voice recognition. In simple words, the service can now distinguish who is talking to it and respond accordingly with that account’s information.
The change is expected to be very helpful to households having multiple members who either share things like calendar and music accounts or receive several Google Home speakers.
When a user opens the Google Home app, he or she sees a notification saying Multi-user is now available. One can start by tapping that.
Once Multi-user is set up on a Google Home speaker, a user will not need to do to switch between accounts as Assistant has learnt each of the multiple users’ voices.
When a user now asks it to play music, his or her preference in music service is played by default and he/she get access to his or her personal playlists from Google Play Music, Spotify and Pandora.
