Apple’s BeatsX wireless earphones have been delayed indefinitely
Authorized Apple reseller B&H has revealed in a recent email that the launch of Apple’s forthcoming BeatsX wireless earphones has apparently been delay indefinitely. The earphones will probably not ship until early 2017.
According to the email, it is highly unlikely that the shipping of the BeatsX wireless earphones will commence in the next 2-3 months.
The BeatsX wireless earphones – equipped with Apple’s vaunted W1 chip – were first introduced by Apple at its iPhone 7 launch event held in September. In introducing the $149-priced earphones, Apple had said that the shipping of the earphones is expected to begin in ‘Fall 2016.’
However, the email sent out by B&H claims that Apple now projects that the BeatsX shipments “will take at least 2-3 months.”
Reporting the indefinite delay in the launch of Apple’s BeatsX wireless earphones, B&H said in a part of its email: “We regret to inform you that the manufacturer has informed us that they still do not know when they will begin shipping this item but they do know that it will take at least 2-3 months.”
