Comcast, Charter reportedly hit deal on joint wireless efforts

Comcast Corporation and Charter Communications have reportedly hit an operational deal to work in partnership on certain wireless communications plans.

On the condition of anonymity, a source revealed that under the newly signed deal Comcast and Charter will only sell wireless services to their respective customers.

In addition, the two companies hit an agreement to only work together to approach any of the key wireless firms about mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) deals. They also agreed not to enter into any material transaction without each other’s consent.

Announcing its earnings for the final quarter of its 2016 fiscal year on Thursday, Nintendo revealed its global sales figures as well.

In Japan, the mobile gaming giant sold 600,000 units of the Switch console from March 3 through March 31, which marked the end of the company’s fiscal quarter.

In the Americas, the company sold 1.2 million units of the new console during the same period of time. Another 940,000 units were sold in Europe, Australia and beyond.
