Google Receives 12,000 requests under ‘right to be forgotten’ option on Day One

Google has announced that the company received 12,000 requests for content removal from European on the first day of launch of its feature under the recent European Court ruling for ‘right to be forgotten’. In a case filed in the European court by a Spanish national, Google was ordered to remove the links and information which has become obsolete with time, if people request the search engine to remove it.

The Reuters report about an apparent TrueCrypt restoration effort is based on the information shared by a leader of the security-experts team who seek to revive the TrueCrypt encryption tool.
