According to the latest data published by online advertising network Chitika on Wednesday, developer adoption rate of the Apple's OS X 10.10 Yosemite beta is four times more than the developer adoption of the OS X 10.9 Mavericks version.

The latest data released by Chitika Insights- the research arm of Chitika - shows the relative adoption rates between Apple's forthcoming OS X Yosemite version and the preceding OS X Mavericks.

According to the results of a new study released recently by eMarketer, mobile apps are threatening Internet search giant Google's dominance in the mobile search advertising arena. The study shows that Google is apparently losing the battle in mobile space, chiefly on revenues accruing from search ads.

The eMarketer study - which has described 'apps' as the 'Other' category which is posing stiff competition to Google in the mobile search ads space - has revealed that Google's share of mobile search ad spending plunged from 82.8 percent in 2012 to only 68.5 percent in 2013.
