The FBI has issued a warning on Wednesday to health care industry companies to be careful of hackers. Concerns over safety from hackers have been raised after a cyberattack was witnessed on the parent of Longview Regional Medical Center, resulting in the theft of millions of patients' private data.

"The FBI has observed malicious actors targeting healthcare related systems, perhaps for the purpose of obtaining Protected Healthcare Information (PHI) and/or Personally Identifiable Information (PII)", said the agency in a flash alert.

The 'baby blackout' trend is seemingly being followed by more and more parents due to different reasons. However, most of the parents who refrain from posting photos of their children on the Internet say that they feel slightly 'uncomfortable' when they think that their baby's photo can be seen by just about anyone.

Google and Five Asian firms to jointly invest $300mn in trans-Pacific fiber-opti

According to an announcement made on Monday, a joint investment of $300 million will be made by Internet search giant Google and five Asian telecom companies in a new trans-Pacific fiber-optic cable system.

The proposed underwater cable system, called FASTER, will connect the west coast of the US to the cities of Chikura and Shima in Japan. The cable - the construction of which will begin immediately - is projected to become operational by mid-2016.
