Responding to issues related to the failure of the “Pokémon Go” event in Chicago, Niantic CEO John Hanke said his company was committed to listening to even harsh feedback to improve what it does.

Hanke was responding to allegations that the game developer hadn’t effectively prepared for last Saturday’s Pokémon Go event, which was attended by more than 20,000 people but was plagued by technical issues.

The technical issues made the popular video game unplayable for many of the attendees, leading to boos and shouts from the large crowd.
