First Lady to Call for Availability of Condoms and Contraceptives to Young Child

Christine Kaseba is the first lady, who has called for the availability of condom and other contraceptives to young girls, who are under 16 years of age. Dr. Kaseba has called this so as to prevent them from unwanted pregnancies, early marriages and contracting HIV.

Dr. Kaseba said in an interview in Camps Bay area in Cape Town that many youths get indulge in sexual activities and was then excluded from a number of interventions. Christine said that although Zambia is a Christian nation, but still it was important to protect adolescent ages at that place.

An investigation over the cause behind the surge in the oil prices and other suspected illegal deals has been called for by the newly elected Zambia President, Michael Sata. With the pursuit who getting hold on those who have been indulging into illegal activities, Sata has appointed Wynter Kabimba, the General Secretary of Patriotic Front party.

While being elected for the post of President, Sata pledges that he would work for the benefit of lower income group. It has come to light that many corrupt activities have been taking place by the energy manufacturers.

It has been told by the Director of International Labor Organization (ILO), Martin Clemensson, that the topics which will be discussed during the meeting will include poverty reduction, provision of decent employment opportunities, better social protection, economic diversity and the need to reduce the country’s dependency on cooper.
