An international team of scientists has recently discovered traces of vast freshwater reserves beneath the ocean floor. According to these scientists, these findings could help to a great extent to sustain water for the coming generations as the current water resources are almost dwindled.

These findings have also been mentioned in this week's issue of Nature. Scientists in the issue reveal that they have discovered that about 500,000 cubic kilometers of low-salinity water has been buried beneath the seabed on continental shelves all over the world.

According to a survey, it has been found that the biggest HIV program in the world is in South Africa. It has been revealed by the sources that according to the statistics of the National Aids Council, the country contains about 6 million suffering from HIV out of which about one third are on treatment.

Sources said in 2012, about 370 000 people were diagnosed with the condition and about 240,000 died due to the Virus in Sounth Africa. Also, as SA now has the biggest HIV treatment program in the world, about 2.4-million people are being treated in the country at present.
