According to a CNET report, bigwig Japanese device maker Sony has confirmed that it has discontinued the shipping of PlayStation Vita TV (PS Vita TV or, simply, PS TV) micro-console to the US and Europe markets.

Going by the information shared by a Sony spokesperson with CNET, the shipments of PS TV in Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) were "terminated at the end of 2015."
