Intel will unveil 9th-generation Core family member on August 21

In addition to the planned unveiling of its 8th-generation Core processors on coming Monday, August 21; Intel Corp. may introduce the world to one member of its 9th-generation Core family, called Ice Lake.

In a newly-released abrupt note on its website, Intel described the new technology, confirming that the 8th-generation Intel Core processor family would be succeeded by Ice Lake processor family.

At the Computex event on Monday, HP announced the addition of two new convertibles to its x360 portfolio --- the HP Pavilion x360 13, and the HP Envy x360. Both the new convertibles will hit the markets in early July; and will boast the all-important 360-degree hinge for flexibility in positioning.

The cost of the 13.3-inch HP Pavilion x360 13 will start at $630; the entry-level model of the bigger and sleeker 15.6-inch HP Envy x360 will be priced at $680.
