Google’s Project Fi service is now open to anyone with compatible handset

On Monday, tech giant Google announced that its Project Fi carrier service is now open to anyone in the US interested in signing up for it. However, to sign up for the Project Fi service, customers should have a compatible handset.

The opening of the Project Fi service – which piggybacks off networks from US wireless carriers T-Mobile and Sprint – to all interested customers in the US comes 10 months after the service was launched by Google as an invite-only network.
