EA giving away free DLC for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline

With Electronics Arts (EA) scheduled to unveil a new Battlefield title - 'Road to Battlefield' - on May 6, the game publisher is celebrating the imminent later-this-year arrival of the game by giving away free downloadable content (DLC) for some of the earlier Battlefield expansions.

Announcing that the previous Battlefield expansions for which free downloads are being served up by the company are Battlefield 4 expansion Dragon's Teeth and Battlefield Hardline expansion Robbery, EA said that the free DLC is being offered as part of the 'Road to Battlefield' promotion.

In a recently released video trailer, EA has teased the full reveal of Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 in the coming months. The trailer hints at an imminent June launch of a mech-piloting sequel to the Titanfall first-person-shooter game series.

The Titanfall 2 teaser released by EA is in the form of a brief, 44-second video, which unfolds the cinematic splendor of the forthcoming game, revealing quite a bit of information about the game.

In a recent announcement, Electronic Arts (EA) and developer BioWare have revealed that a new digital expansion for free-to-play PC MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic is scheduled to hit the markets on December 9. The cost of the expansion at launch will be $20.

The new expansion of the 2011-launched The Old Republic game will be called 'Shadow of Revan.' Featuring new story-centric missions, the expansion will unfold five new levels of story content; and will also feature a raised level cap of 60, as well as a number of other new endgame content.

Electronic Arts Announces Record Sales of Titanfall and Deal with Respawn Entert

Titanfall sales figures were revealed by Electronic Arts during a conference with investors this afternoon. Also, it revealed the extension of the deal with Respawn Entertainment to allow continue publishing future games in the series.

"We are also excited to announce that EA is continuing its partnership with Vince Zampella and the Respawn Entertainment team. Through a new publishing agreement, we will be working with Respawn to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide", said EA.
