Leaked reports reveal more about new BMW M5

Luxury carmaker BMW’s next-generation M5 car will be an all-wheel-drive with a powerful engine capable of producing roughly 600bhp, leaked reports suggested.

According to leaked reports and images, the next-generation BMW M5 will come equipped with a 4.4-litre V8 engine that will be tweaked to produce nearly 600bhp. Its xDrive all-wheel-drive setup will put it squarely against the new Mercedes-AMG E 63 S.

The US traffic safety agency has revealed recently that German automaker BMW has recalled its 89,000 Mini Coopers over the fears that a problem in the smoldering circuit board could put cars on fire. The models which have been called back are from November 2006 to January 2011.

It includes various models of Cooper such as Cooper S, Cooper S Countryman, and Cooper JCW. Explaining about the fault the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said, "The electric auxiliary water pump that cools the turbocharger has an electronic circuit board that can malfunction and overheat”.
